There will be short discussions, some with audience participation relating to why more young people are not choosing quality as a career path and what is viewed as wrong with the quality profession.

Implementing Predictive Analytics: A Prospective Approach Oct 12, 2015

While often of excellent quality, many reporting tools provide only retrospective data, requiring managers to plan based on conditions during previous years. In this prospective approach, statistical modeling is used to develop and verify a forecast of future conditions. In this case study, a picture of the numbers and characteristics of homeless K-12 students by state is developed, allowing mitigation plans and programs to be based on current conditions. Extensive use is made of socio-economic factors, demonstrating their application in predictive analytics. Key drivers of homeless students are identified and actions recommended.
